Rae of Sunshine was founded to assist children ages 0-18, who are struggling with a life threatening illness or severe economic challenges. Often times, they are one in the same.

Children suffering from disease are frequently misunderstood by their peers who may not have sufficient education and information about their friend's condition or economic status.

By ensuring basic needs and educational opportunities are fulfilled, effected children may escape the frequent peer pressure and bullying that can be associated with being "different".
